Donald Trump, in my opinion, is making a lot of decisions that don’t quite make sense. This is, after all, the head of the United States, so I would not like to disparage some of them publicly in this way, but what does not make sense to me, and we can certainly talk about it, is his habit of giving members of his cabinet too big shoes to fill. The internet is having fun at the expense of some politicians and officials, who often wear leather shoes mainly to please Trump.
There are several photographs showing that the Florsheim leather shoes Trump hands out to influential people are not always quite right. For example, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has become a laughing stock because of this, because in several photographs that have been circulating on the Internet, his shoes are visibly larger than he needs.
Big donations
Trump reportedly started picking out shoes for others in his office, where he even interrupted a policy debate to tell others that their shoes were not ideal. First, he ordered a pair of new shoes for Vice President JD Vance. But later it turned out that he had been going around to important meetings with prominent politicians and guests and asking about their foot size. Well, for some he apparently didn’t remember, for others he just guessed. Because considerably large shoes are now worn by half his cabinet.
Maybe Trump thinks that if he’s giving someone a gift, it should be something in style. Literally. Or does he simply want the fact that he chooses to give such gifts to people to be seen by those with small feet? Moreover , according to psychologists, people with bigger feet appear more dominant, stable and trustworthy, so maybe Trump also wants to show people that his cabinet is full of such people?
━━ Huge shoes that don't fit anyone are the hit of the internet. Is there a reason for this move by the US president?

The shoes Trump is giving people are, of course, classy. They are leather, from a major brand, so logically they are also expensive. He’s reportedly paying for them entirely out of his own pocket. Such gifts, then, simply cannot be refused by officials. Many of them, in my opinion, wear them primarily to avoid offending the US President or to please him in some way.
This is despite the fact that often the shoes do not match their suits, their style, or the size of their feet. The President himself wears a very similar pair of shoes, and for some people, then, it may indeed be an honour to have shoes on their feet that are good enough for them, and thus they don’t mind looking like a penguin when they walk.
