If there’s one event that draws people from all over the world and makes every corner of the world go wild for days, it’s undoubtedly Brazil’s Tomorrowland. This year’s edition takes place from October 10 to 12. What’s so fascinating about it and where did this offshoot of the world-famous Tomorrowland come from in Brazil?

What is Tomorrowland?

Brazil’s Tomorrowland is an electronic music festival that takes place in Maeda Park. It is a smaller version of the huge and elaborate Tomorrowland, which has traditionally been held in Belgium for years. The first editions were held in 2015 and 2016, however, a hiatus of several years followed and the festival returned again in 2023.

Since then, it has improved, gotten bigger and offers a much more effective and fascinating experience thanks to the visual effects, lights, set design and mythical setting. It’s not just a musical event, it’s a different world that you can experience for yourself.

Tomorrowland 2025

This year’s edition runs from 10 to 12 October 2025 and its theme is LIFE. The theme of the festival is set in the mythical world of Silvyra. This is a reference to the second edition, which was subtitled The Elixir of Life. The spectacular sets and backdrops that were unveiled at the 20th anniversary of Tomorrowland in Belgium make an appearance.

Confirmed artists

The festival offers 6 stages featuring more than 100 of the world’s leading artists. Officially confirmed names include David Guetta, Agents Of Time, Alesso, Alok, Armin van Buuren, Axwell, Steve Aoki. Among the local musicians are Vintage Culture, Zerb and Anna.

Break in 2026 and the future

There is a lot of interest in this year’s edition as there will be a break in 2026. The reason for the postponement is a fire that destroyed the main stage in Belgium, which was to be transported to Brazil. However, the organisers promise that the festival will return in full force in 2 years time.

“To protect the creativity, high quality and flawless organisation that Tomorrowland stands for, we have decided to give it a little more time and come back stronger than ever in 2027. Our goal remains to develop Brazilian Tomorrowland in a sustainable way – with continuity, with love and always with a deep respect for our Brazilian community,” the official websitestates.
