Time travel sounds more like the subject of a sci-fi movie. Although mankind is developing ever better technology, it has not yet figured out how to travel to the past or the future. Or so we think. In fact, one man claims to be a space-time traveller and he came from the 65th century!
This man, who calls himself James Oliver, swears he’s stuck in 2018 in our timeline. Supposedly, he set out on a mission to the 21st century in the year 6491, but his spaceship malfunctioned and he was stranded. He appeared in a video by the paranormal YouTube channel ApexTV in which he was hooked up to a lie detector. And how did he hold up? Unbelievably, an A, because according to the results, he didn’t lie once.
When specifically asked about our future, he replied that he was not authorized to talk about it, but he did point out a few problems that humanity should address. He said that global warming will reach a critical threshold and the planet will face high temperatures, so it would be wise to limit carbon emissions. And to rely on America’s influence and help.
He also noted that technology will take over our lives, with each person having their own artificial intelligence system that will recognise users by their voice.
The question arises, however, whether James Oliver is from Earth or from another planet altogether. He said that the planet he comes from has much longer years. It’s also further away from the sun, so space travel takes longer. “But we have gifted mathematicians working on calculating our years from the years of other civilizations,” he noted. He reportedly works at an alien research agency that focuses on human history and culture.
In his spacetime, it is said to be quite common for there to be many planets with life on them. In fact, he revealed that humanity has managed to colonize distant galaxies and discover many other life forms. In his time, they are said to find new planets almost daily, but most of them do not yield major discoveries.

He added, however, that there are many planets with inhabitants who are much more intelligent than humans. He said there was a conflict between aliens and humans. However, this was not otherwise extensive, as it was suppressed by the Intergalactic Federation, which serves to keep the peace.
The term alien, however, does not mean to him what it means to us. “The definition of an alien is something from another world, so technically I’m encountering one right now,” he said. Interplanetary contacts are quite common, he said. He said he even meets aliens on an almost daily basis, and considers some of them good friends.
“I have personal relationships with several of them, I have friends that I can consider to be extraterrestrials. It’s a nice bunch, really. Don’t be hasty to judge,” he described interplanetary communication. “My closest friend is from another galaxy.”
Is this man telling the truth, or is this just a well-rehearsed game to draw attention to himself? The best option is to remain skeptical. After all, no one knows what is possible or impossible, and so it is with a universe that is infinite and mysterious. After all, even a lie detector isn’t always reliable.
